of my film:
This work explores the sensory overload of everyday urban life through a distorted visual and soundscape. The piece follows fragments of ordinary movement.
walking, commuting, working, and passing through familiar spaces.
The sounds that define daily life are the tapping of a keyboard and the soft clink of a teaspoon in a cup of coffee. Living in Dhaka, a densely populated and constantly noisy city, we experience how sound spirals into the mind and influences mood and memory.
I wanted to build a participatory sound environment that explores the beating of the city. While the body continues to move through streets, workspaces, and routines, the mind often drifts elsewhere. The piece invites listeners to feel the emotional weight hidden within ordinary daily movement.
